I loved that Nissan and it saddened my wife and I that we bought what turned out to be a waste of money! MINE WAS FIXED JUST BEFORE THE 60,000 MILES ( BY A DEALER) BUT IT IS STARTING TO FEEL LIKE IT MAY HAPPEN AGAIN, NOT SHIFTING LIKE IT SHOULD AND COULD LEAD TO MORE SERIOUS PROBLEMS AGAIN. Second one went at 76,000 but I had the extended to 80,000 already so I didn’t pay out of pocket except for a car rental. I’m pissed cus they said of mileage was 90xxxx can’t get money how is that even fair Everyone should know that a transmission should not go out on a car at 100,000 miles. The information submitted on this page will be forwarded to Berger Montague who has sponsored this investigation. I have a 2011 Nissan Rogue, it has 67,000 miles purchased brand new, they are now telling me I need a new transmission. It’s for the exact amount I paid on my transmission repair bill. I got no check. Claim in Nov, email a few days ago. Did they just place a $5K check in your mailbox? I went got a manufactured one. I had to call Nissan Corporate back (not liking that I’m the monkey in the middle, isn’t this what my dealership is supposed to do?) I would like to file a claim but it is only for 2014-2017 models, how do I file a claim for the 2018 models? A rep from Nissan told me it was part of the gas saving aspect of the engine. You are looking at about six months or more before anything is issue. At least I know that I do have an active claim and should be getting reimbursement at some point! I have not received notice concerning my claim.
